2013: We started with the MEP to improve resource management in public schools through the Education Boards. A first step to address structural problems from the root.

2019: Caricaco Foundation was born with the mission of leveling the playing field for Costa Rica’s youth. We bet on social innovation as a driver of change.

2022: We created, together with MTSS, the first pay-for-results contracts in employment in Costa Rica. This experience transformed the Empléate Program towards an outcomes-based approach.

2024: We partnered with PROCOMER, CONAPE and INA. We replicated the results model in employment training, designed a guarantee fund for educational credits and reoriented INA’s offering towards sectors with labor demand.

2025: We continue learning, measuring and iterating to scale what works. This year we launch new solutions in partnership with key institutions to continue transforming the system from within.
